Standard use
Position the panel at the distance recommended in your manual for broad-area light exposure. Choose RED, NIR or both and adjust the intensity and timer to suit your session.

Dedicated Contact presets support targeted skin-contact use at reduced intensity. Contact use has its own settings and cooling guidance: keep the vents clear and pause if the panel becomes excessively warm. Read the manual before your first session.

Is shipping free, and are taxes included?
We offer free shipping to all EU countries, Norway, Switzerland, Iceland and Liechtenstein. All taxes are included in the price.
How do I use my HELIO panel?
Set the panel up securely, connect the supplied power cable and switch it on at the back. For Standard use, choose RED + NIR with continuous light, expose the skin you want to illuminate and follow the distance, intensity and timer settings in your model’s Quick Guide. Start with 3–4 sessions per week for the first two weeks. Protective eyewear is included; never look directly into the LEDs. For skin-contact use, follow the separate Contact instructions.
How far away should I sit, and how long is a session?
For HELIO 2, the Quick Guide gives two Standard-use starting options: 10 minutes at 60 cm, or 15 minutes at 75 cm, with RED + NIR at 100% intensity and continuous light. The longer-distance option gives gentler light and wider coverage. These settings are for use at a distance, not skin contact. Follow the manual’s safety guidance and reduce intensity or session time if needed.
What is the difference between Standard and Contact use?
Standard use illuminates an area from the distance recommended in the manual. Contact use is targeted skin-contact use with dedicated presets and its own intensity and cooling guidance. Read the instructions for your model before starting.
Can I hang the panel up?
Yes. HELIO 2 includes a door hook and cable hanging system, so you can position it for seated or standing use. Use a suitable door that can securely support the panel, follow the mounting steps in the manual and support the panel’s weight when adjusting its height. Keep the cooling vents clear. Start with the area you want to illuminate and the space available for your setup. Size 1 is compact and suited to tabletop use; larger models offer a taller illuminated area. The i-series combines premium 3W LEDs with five wavelengths. The HELIO-series uses premium 5W LEDs with five wavelengths, while the HELIO pro-series adds 670 and 1060 nm for seven wavelengths. How powerful are HELIO panels compared with other brands?
The HELIO-series and HELIO pro-series are the industry’s most powerful red light therapy panels, combining premium 5W LEDs with 60° convex optics for exceptional irradiance.
Why do some panels advertise much higher irradiance numbers?
Solar power meters are calibrated for sunlight, rather than the specific wavelengths emitted by red and near-infrared LEDs. Without a suitable spectral correction, their readings can be approximately twice the actual irradiance. The exact difference depends on the instrument and the light spectrum. This is why an advertised intensity can look much higher without the panel delivering correspondingly more light.
Yes. Choose RED, NIR or both on the touchscreen. Near-infrared light is invisible, so some LEDs can appear off while they are operating.
Is the touchscreen available in German?
Yes. The touchscreen offers English and German language options. A digital manual is also available in both languages.
Can I control several panels together?
The Modular setting supports a grouped setup, and one remote can control several panels at once. Follow the mounting and operating instructions in the manual.
Does Dark Mode reduce the light output?
Dark Mode changes the touchscreen appearance only. To adjust the panel light, use the intensity setting.

Build quality is very solid, industrial. It is a heavy device. Although I cannot say how the electronics will hold over the years, the surprisingly heavy and bulky cooling system gives confidence.
I have been using PBM with a couple small, pure 830nm lamps for years noe and know that it works (don’t expect miracles, but it gives a risk-free betterment of a lot of conditions in tissues up to 3, maybe 5 cm below the skin, if you get the dosage right). Bought this device to help manage my wife’s venal insufficiency in the legs. No experience with multi-wavelength devices yet, but I can set it to NIR only, if I need.
Device is made and packaged in China, without re-opening by the seller, it ships as it was packaged in China. Quality control is good though.
Overall very happy with the purchase. From my research it is the best panel-format device on the EU market.
