What are the benefits of contact-use?
There are two ways to use a RLT-panel. The most common for ‘normal’ use, which is to place the device at a certain distance from the body; and the most common for clinical use, which is to hold the device in direct contact with the body.
Clinicians/scientists prefer contact use, since it eliminates a ton of variables that make scientific comparison difficult, but also because it enhances the light penetration (the distance that the light energy travels into the body) manifold. While it is in its nature more ‘targeted’, since you won’t be able to cover the same amount of your body with light that you could do at a distance, the deep penetration means that you will often find it to be much, much more powerful.
Contact-use is preferred for things such as: gut-microbiome improvement, fat mobilization, stem cell release, bone health, physical performace, pain or injury relief.
For example, when it comes to physical performance, distance use certainly has its effects, but if you want to see truly impressive and undeniable results, you should go for contact-use with the body parts, that you’ll be using most, about 3-6 hours before the work-out.
Should you get injured, contact-use is likewise stunningly effective at speeding up the recovery. We know this from first-hand experience, having had a 3-month shoulder injury from a failed yoga-pose, which we managed to heal in just three sessions of 5 minutes of contact use applied to the area.
Most companies don’t tell you about contact-use, perhaps because their products aren’t capable of being used for it. They advertise the benefits that have been demonstrated with contact-use studies for their distance-only panels. With our panels you can do both, since we are extremely low-EMF, have a brightness adjustment function, have accurate intensity measurements, and have done our research which enables us to recommend a safe and effective protocol in our manual.
