About us
HELIO was created to allow as many people as possible to harness the healing power of the sun to optimize their health everyday. Our modern lifestyle often deprives our bodies and psyches of the stimuli that it has been evolutionarily built for. As the medical science has developed, this has become increasingly clear.
We believe passionately that many ailments of our bodies and psyches can be alleviated by the care and attention to the body-nature relationship, and we believe that RLT is a key tool for modern people to reintegrate this into their lives.

The RLT-industry is rather new and the market is still young. Therefore, many companies in the industry have taken advantage of the lack of consumer-awareness about the actual cost and quality of the technology to inflate their prices and to claim high-quality despite selling mediocre products.
We started HELIO in order to disrupt this greedy status-quo and enable as many people as possible to get the optimal health-benefits, even if they don’t have unlimited money to spend.

Our Story
HELIO comes from the ancient Greek word Helios, which means ‘sun’ and also refers to the Greek god who dragged the sun across the sky by his carriage every day.
After stumbling across the science and technology of red-light-therapy in 2021, we spent the entirety of 2022 researching and developing the perfect product, since we did not find a satisfactory offer on the market, which is currently dominated by companies charging highly unreasonable margins on products, which they market through unscrupulous tactics and unrealistic claims. Red-light-therapy obviously won’t make you look 10 years younger or 10 times stronger overnight. Some benefits come quick and some show themselves through months and years of consistent use, which is entirely logical given the biological mechanism at stake.
At HELIO, we pride ourselves on providing an honest product with realistic and accurate information, at a price point which none of our competitors can match. We can do so, due to a very slim company structure, where we do everything in our power to minimize costs. You’re not paying for excessive business trips and advertising campaigns, rather we do everything that we possibly can do ourselves with the occasional help of friends and family.
